Conquest-War Update - 15.01.2025

Greetings, Conquest-War players! We're bringing a new update with several improvements and fixes:

Changes and Improvements

  • Island Bank: It is now possible to store bound items in the Island Bank, making the initial progress easier.
  • New Banks: Two new banks have been added in Twin City and Market.
  • Ticket Notification: Players will now receive a notification confirming ticket delivery.
  • Ticket Log: A ticket log system has been implemented to track ticket delivery.

Bug Fixes

  • Player Names: A problem where player names with special characters were displayed incorrectly has been fixed.
  • Website: Resolved the issue that prevented player information from displaying correctly on the website.

Patch Note – Today's Update - 17.01.2025

Greetings, players!

We’ve introduced significant changes in this update to make character progression more dynamic and enhance your experience on the server. Here are the new features:

2nd Reborn Progression Improvements

We’ve simplified the 2nd Reborn and Talismans Quest: You now need to collect 160 Ores* to obtain 2 Gold Tokens. The process is as follows:

  • 10 Ores = 1 Copper Coin
  • 2 Copper Coins = 1 Silver Coin
  • 2 Silver Coins = 1 Gold Coin
  • 2 Gold Coins = 1 Gold Token

Collect, trade, and evolve your character!

Experience Bonus

The experience value of the ExpBall (Event) has tripled! This will allow players to progress faster early in the game and reach the end game more easily.

Drop System Improvement

The drop system has been adjusted again. This change makes it easier to collect resources and makes farming more rewarding, encouraging map exploration.

Faster Monster Respawn Times

Monsters now respawn faster, making farming more efficient and continuous.

Patch Note - Conquest-War Server Update - 19.01.2025

IMPORTANT:

We kindly ask all players to completely close the game client and reopen it to ensure the update is applied correctly.

New Features:

  • Day/Night and Weather System: Players can now disable the automatic day/night and weather system. To keep the game always daytime, type @day in the chat. To return to nighttime mode, simply relog.

Patch Note - Conquest-War - January 23, 2024

The maintenance was performed overnight to address community requests and fix issues reported during our Beta phase.

New Additions:

  • New Skill: Charging Vortex:
    • Requirements: Equipped horse + two-handed weapon (wand, spear, etc.).
    • Acquisition: NPC Mount Trainer in Twin City.
    • Usage: Allowed only in PvE maps. Blocked in PvP (Arena, Guild War).

Skill Adjustments:

  • Hercules:
    • Fixed the issue with lower rage and very low delay.
    • Increased area of effect, but with a higher delay and a slight increase in stamina cost.
  • FastBlade, SentSword:
    • Reduced stamina cost.

Boss Respawn Adjustments on Treasure Island:

  • Stamina Recovery: Adjusted to avoid near-infinite recovery.
  • Blue Boss from the Altar and Noxus Islands: Respawn every 30 minutes (xx:30 and xx:00).

Notes:

  • Charging Vortex: This new skill aims to balance Warrior farming in PvE; its damage in PvP will be low.
  • Hercules Adjustments: The Hercules skill has been modified to balance Trojan farming in PvE; however, its damage in PvP will still be low.

City War PvP Tournament

Overview

The PvP tournament "City War" has arrived, bringing a new level of competition between guilds. In this exciting event, players fight for control of strategic cities: Twin City, Phoenix Castle, Desert City, Ape City, and Bird Island. Each day of the week is dedicated to a city, and each city offers different point values, creating intense competition throughout the week.

City Points Values

  • Twin City: 4 points
  • Phoenix Castle: 3 points
  • Desert City: 4 points
  • Ape City: 3 points
  • Bird Island: 3 points

Event Duration and Schedule

The "City War" happens twice a day at the following times:

  • 10:00 AM (server time)
  • 8:00 PM (server time)

Each battle lasts 1 hour.

City War Mechanics

1. Schedule and Structure

  • 10 battles take place throughout the week, from Monday to Friday, with each day focused on a specific city.
  • Point Bonuses: On two days of the week, specific cities will offer extra points, increasing competition.
  • On Saturday, the points reset, and the weekly rewards will be available for collection for 7 days.

2. Event Entry

  • At the start of the war, players receive an invitation. Entry to the event map is through the NPC CityWar, located in Twin City.
  • The NPC grants access to the map of the city hosting the battle of the day.

3. Event Mechanics

  • War Gates: Each city has special gates blocking entry. These gates must be destroyed to access the City Pole.
  • City Pole: The main objective is to capture the Pole, similar to Guild War mechanics. The guild with its name on the Pole at the end of the war will be declared the winner and will accumulate points.

4. Daily Points and Rewards

  • The winning guild of each battle will receive 15kk gold as a reward.
  • A scoreboard will be available through the NPC CityWar and will be displayed on a panel in Twin City, allowing everyone to follow the guilds' performance.

Weekly Reward System

The tournament takes place weekly, with results recorded at the end of each cycle.

  • On Saturday, the top 3 guilds with the highest points will receive exclusive rewards.

Reward Details:

  • Each guild member can claim 1 prize per day, with a maximum of 15 prizes per guild per day in the following week.
  • The rewards are unique per member, ensuring fair distribution and preventing multiple claims by the same player.

New Feature: Guaranteed Luck System for Socket Opening

Socket Opening - A Solution for Bad Luck

We know that the socket opening system can be frustrating, especially when some players experience extreme bad luck while others succeed quickly. To offer a medium- to long-term solution, we’ve introduced a new mechanism in the NPC for socket opening: the Guaranteed Luck System.

How Does the Guaranteed Luck System Work?

Global Luck Average and Stats:

On average, the server requires between 1 and 1000 stones to open the 1st socket, although luck may allow it to happen sooner. However, extreme bad luck cases can cause frustration.

Individual Failure Counter:

To balance the experience, an individual failure counter has been implemented:

  • 1st Socket: Guaranteed after 1000 accumulated failures.
  • 2nd Socket: Guaranteed after 5000 accumulated failures.

Note: Whenever a player successfully opens a socket, the failure counter resets.

Example:

If a player accumulates 500 failures and opens a socket, the counter resets. If they reach 1000 failures without success, the system guarantees the opening of the socket.

Benefits of the System

  • Fairness and Balance: Ensures a more consistent progression for all players.
  • Transparency: The failure counter will be visible in the NPC, allowing players to track their progress.
  • Improved Experience: Reduces frustration and guarantees progress even for the unluckiest players.

Experience Gain Rebalancing

Experience Rebalancing

We know that in Conquer Online, the real challenge starts at the 2nd rebirth. Our goal is to create a moderately difficult server that remains fun and accessible. During the Beta phase, we identified that progress before the 1st rebirth was too slow and demotivating for some players.

New Rules for EXP Balls

Experience Bonus Before 1st Rebirth

Players who have not reached the 2nd rebirth will earn 4x more experience when using an EXP Ball.

Increased Difficulty at the 2nd Rebirth

After reaching the 2nd rebirth, experience returns to normal. This marks the beginning of the real challenge.

Base Experience Doubled

The base experience of EXP Balls has been doubled, allowing faster initial progress.

Goals of the Changes

  • Make the early levels more enjoyable and accessible.
  • Create a competitive and challenging environment for advanced players while maintaining server balance.

A new drop code has been implemented and is in its final adjustment phase. We ask for your patience as we complete the adjustments.

Changes to Altar Island Respawns

To accommodate the high player demand at launch, we will increase the monster volume at Altar Island respawns.

Drop Rules for EXP Balls (Event) and Socket Stones

  • These items will only be available for drop from level 3 on Noxus and Altar Islands.
  • The ExpPotion (new linked EXP Ball) will be droppable starting at level 1 and usable from level 70.

Goals of the Changes

  • Ensure a fairer drop experience.
  • Prevent abuse by low-level accounts.
  • Prepare the islands for high player volumes at launch.
